About our CD-ROM

It is packed with over one thousand five hundred photographs of the trams and buses that have operated on Tees-side, over the whole of the last century. We are coupling it to a database that lets you easily browse the photographs and see the details of all the vehicles that have been operated by the municipal undertakings on Tees-side.

Although the photographs are primarily of the vehicles, much of the back-ground scenery and activity are a complete micro-record of life and times in the area, throughout the past Century.

We are to publish it in Spring 2002. It will be available, from the group by post, but will also be available in main Reference Libraries and Record Offices for study purposes.
