Toy Library

The Toy Library is held every Tuesday  10.00am and 12.00noon (including school holidays) at the Chester le Street Methodist Church, opposite the market place. There is a wide choice of toys available to lend out to families and childminders in the Chester le Street area. You do not have to be registered with Sure Start to borrow toys.

There is no charge to join the Toy Library or to borrow toys. You can bring children along to the session to choose which toys to borrow and also to stay and play. You can stay for as long as you like during the session. We have toys and activities for you to take part in with your children.

You can borrow up to a maximum of six toys at a time and toys are normally booked out for two weeks. However if you would like to keep the toys for a bit longer, just let us know. If you would like to find out more, please contact Helen, Amy or Amanda  on 0191 387 5907.
