New Children's Centres

On 11th July 2005 the Sure Start Local Programme team moved into a beautiful new building - Bullion Lane Children's Centre!

The official opening took place on 23rd September 2005 but we have been delivering activities and services from 11th July - so come along and see what is on offer. 

The Buttercup nursery is now fully open at Bullion Lane Children's Centre.

Activities also take place at the new Pelton Children's Centre ( at Pelton Community Primary School ) where there is also a nursery run by Buttercup.

Our new buildings are only two of the venues around the district from which we are delivering services.  Our “rolling programme”  involves a wide range of activities moving around the district, allowing most communities the opportunity to experience them.  You will also be able to follow your favourite sessions wherever they are being held, and we really hope that members of the community will also be interested in leading some of these.
