I was born Elizabeth Bruce on the 1st July 1934 at Trimdon Foundry, Trimdon Station. My parents were John and Margaret Hannah Bruce. My mother's maiden was Hogan and she originated from Wingate. I was the youngest of 7 children; I had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. On February 5th 1955 I married George Pace from Wheatley Hill. I had 2 sons, George born 8th October 1957 and Trevor born 16th June 1960.
