Easter Day.

Easter time is here again with cards and eggs and bonnets,
With crocuses and daffodils, the blackbird sings his sonnet.
The sun is shining for a while, the sky is looking brighter
Outside the children laugh and play
The nights are getting lighter

Clothes have been bought for Easter Day
There are chocolate eggs to give out.
One little girl cries I've got three
You've got one more than me another girl gave shout

Easter time is a very holy time and very special you see
It's about a man who was crucified
Who died to save you and me
Easter time is a happy time,
For on day number three he rose again
To go back from whence he came,
To watch over you and me.
