Our aims and objectives are for women in our village and surrounding areas to meet and socialise with an educational and entertaining theme. We describe our Mothers Club as the 3E's Education, Entertainment and Enjoyment.

At our first committee meeting in March we select each member to be in one of 4 teams. Each year we change the name of the teams, but try to make them appropriate to the year. This year being the millennium we have called the teams by different ages throughout the two millenniums for example. Roman, Norman, Tudor and Windsor. Once a month the teams compete against each other, various games i.e. Whist, dominoes or maybe a quiz. There are also competitions for members to show their skills at various arts and crafts. We find that every member is very competitive and at the end of the year the winning team all get a beautiful prize
