Projects Include

• Additional Health Visitors – offering support to parents in all aspects of parenting.

• Family Support Workers – to support families on an individual and group basis.  The team provide support at home and organise group activities.

• Healthy Living Initiatives – such as healthier lifestyle courses, help to stop smoking and a Dental Health Campaign.

• Home Safety Scheme – providing free home safety equipment to families with children under four in the area.

• Advice Sessions - bringing the Citizens Advice Bureau and Employment Services closer to the community.

• A Dad’s Worker - to encourage the involvement of fathers with their children.

• Reading Initiatives such as Book Start and an Outreach Library Service.

• A Minibus – and driver to provide transport for families and local groups.
