Connie Kitto.
I was born in 55, Birchham Street, South Moor, in 1938. Later my family moved to Park Road, South Moor, where I spent my childhood years. I am now married to William Kitto and we have two sons, Craig and Alan. Craig was born at Flint Hill and Alan was born at Quaking Houses.
I started working on my husbands family history about ten years ago. I am now a member of the Searchers Family Group, where I have been given lots of help from the other members.
The Kitto name comes from Cornwall and I have researched back to 1718, which has been very interesting for me and my family. They all encourage me so I intend to go as far as possible into this history. As far as I am aware the information is correct, but I am still double checking all the time.
My only regret is, I did not ask my grandparents and other relatives about their families when I was younger. If I start on my Liddle family history, it is going to be just as much hard work, due to lack of information.
