Introduction

Esh winning fathers group consists of fathers, single male parents, grandfathers, male partners and men taking on the role of father in a relationship.

We meet every Thursday during school term between 10-12 at Esh Winning Family Centre, situated at 40, Dene Park Esh Winning.

Activities, both indoor and out, consist of guest speakers giving advice on topics such as, welfare matters, computer skills, cooking, and courses available in our area covering a wide range of topics.

Outdoor activities have included museum visits, coastal walks, places of local and historic interest, walks in the dales and a basic computer course.

Our group has men from, Esh Winning, Bearpark and Brandon. We are open to new ideas, so if you would like to come along or find out more, simply ring,

The Fathers Group has submitted a small number of bids for funding and has a high success rate.

The applications have enabled the group to attend Sunderland Air show and Flamingo Land with their families last summer.
